After not having a reason to slip into anything other than a rubber splattered boiler suit for more than 2 weeks now along come not one... not two ...BUT THREE reasons to bring out some fancy headwear all in one weekend.
sunday 5th june
"From 12 noon - 6.30pm in Spiegel Garden (free) - demonstrations, performances and try-out sessions in Can Can, Hoola Hoop, Burlesque dance, Tribal Belly Dance and more... Plus Vintage Fair with fashion, hair and make-up stalls.
In the Spiegeltent - workshops in Cabaret Arts. From 3pm Burlesque Show featuring tantalising tasters from Poppy Von Tarte, Betty Bruiser, Geisha Go Disco and Tuesday LeVeau"
All held IN and around...a venue of faerie tale fantasy...
After researching these magical,pop-up masterpieces i am DESPERATE to get inside one.
From a humble beginning as a village fayre dance venue, crafted by Belgian carpenter, William Klessens in the 1920s,the now world famous Spiegel Tents have spent nearing a decadent century touring the globe, wowing guests with their
wooden floors, beautifully crafted leaded glass windows and opulent velvet ceilings.

| The amazing roof garden |
Both poi-fect card touting opportunities.
Sadly this particular weekend i am otherwise engaged, so the usherette tray will not be getting an airing.
BRONTE HANDS and HIROSHI are in town and on a lovely street in darling wALTHAMSTOW there will a serious amount of sea food. Its an annual thing...with a nautical theme...you CAN'T MISS IT!
